The Diamond A Ranch is a 2,000 acre game fenced working ranch in Guadalupe County, Texas. Located on State Highway 123 approximately 12 miles south of Interstate 10, the ranch is just south of the city of Seguin. 

The ranch is under a Managed Lands Deer Program with Texas Parks and Wildlife. Within this program multiple management practices are performed annually, which help us to study and maintain our deer herd and their environment. Among these practices are several deer surveys to determine herd population as well as sex ratios. Since the ranch is a MLD Program, you will not use the tags from your hunting license. We will provide you with a tag for your harvest. However, you must have a valid Texas hunting license.  

The ranch operates 2 large Deer Management Pens (DMP) in which quality deer are bred and the fawns are liberated onto the ranch each year. At the ranch, we adhere to strict management practices to help maintain the health and quality of the deer herd.

The ranch has been under a supplemental feeding program since 2007. High protein feed is dispensed year round to ensure the deer grow to their full genetic potential and remain healthy. The protein is distributed through free-choice feeders so it is available to deer when desired.
